Crystal Ruble plays a dual role at Conservation Fisheries. She is our Facility Manager and Senior Field Biologist. Before working with CFI Crystal has had years of aquarium experience which translated well to working in the hatchery and understanding systems. She is a graduate of UTK with a BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a second major in Psychology. Crystal has been with CFI since January 2004. She is about to complete her MS Degree from the University of West Virginia with a comparative study of the early life histories of three darters of the Etheostoma maculatum species complex as well as describing the life history of the diamond darter, Crystallaria cincotta. Fortunately, she has been able to complete most of her work while still here at CFI!
