Facility



 

In 2003, CFI was able to relocate to a new facility encompassing 5200 square feet, with nearly one acre of fenced property. We currently have over 300 aquariums housing nearly 20 species of southeastern stream fishes. Most are imperiled, many are federally protected!

Here's a look at our facility from early on until the present:

Plumbing of the new racks is underway. Each rack is plumbed and filtered independently of the others.

This room is used for the culture of algae, rotifers, daphnia and brine shrimp nauplii.
