Etheostoma boschungi

We have worked to develop propagation techniques for this beautiful and unique darter. Similar propagation methods could possibly be used for other members of the same subgenus. Slackwater darters spawn in late winter or early spring in small streams that dry up seasonally. Habitat destruction has significantly reduced available spawning sites and resulted in their imperilment.
