Noturus stanauli

An extremely rare member of the genus Noturus, pygmy madtoms are known from only two localities in the world, the upper Clinch River and the Duck River. Fewer than 50 of these fish have ever been collected.    Conservation Fisheries has spawned pygmy madtoms in our facility. We hope to aid in the recovery of this little-known fish.  MORE>>>
