Native Range: Gulf drainages from Halawakee Creek (Chattahoochee River drainage), AL; Mississippi River drainage in n. MS

Spawning Habitat Preferences: Late spring to early summer spawners in small, low gradient streams on the edge of high flow; lay eggs over gravel substrate

CFI Status: Propagated at CFI in 2002 for otolith research*. (What do these terms mean?)
