Native Range: Upper Black Warrior river system (known only from tributaries of Sipsey Fork and Locust Fork), AL

Spawning Habitat Preferences: Late winter spawners in small streams, springs, and seeps with low flow; lay eggs in aquatic vegetation and detritus

CFI Status: Propagated at CFI from 2008-2010 to develop propagation protocols and establish an assurance colony. (What do these terms mean?)
