Calling all supporters of the Little River!
We invite you out to River John’s Island for a day of outdoor fun! In coordination with the Little River Watershed Association we present to you, Little River Community Day.
There is no cost for attendance, but donations to Conservation Fisheries and Little River Watershed Association will be accepted all weekend.
COME JOIN US, SATURDAY JULY 22ND, 11 AM - 7 PM FOR THE LITTLE RIVER COMMUNITY DAY!
We want to invite you, the friends and supporters of the Little River Watershed Association out to a laid back community day on the Little River at River John's Island on Saturday, July 22d from 11 AM - 7 PM
We want to open the invitation to the community that supports LRWA and our mission of protecting the Little River watershed, out to enjoy the day outdoors by the Little River. This is a special day to bring our community together and enjoy the beauty of the Little River and the tranquility of the island, totally FREE!
Bring some food, drinks, and whatever you may want for the day. There will be a grill, a pavilion and portapotties on-site to use on the island, but please note, no dogs are allowed on the island for liability reasons.
The island will open at 11, and we will load up boats at 11:30 and then set off at 12PM sharp to do a group paddle. You are welcome to join us for the paddle, and we will have limited boats for use, but please let us know ahead of time if you need one so we can accommodate.
You are also welcome to stay on the island and fish, swim, float in the river, play games, play music, or simply just hang back and relax by the Little River.
Plus ones and family are welcome, but we ask that you fill out this form so we know how many people to expect.

If you plan to attend, please bring all necessary items that you will require to enjoy these recreational activities, including tents, chairs, canoes, kayaks, floaties, coolers, food, fishing rods, musical instruments, and whatever else you want to for this experience.
Please note that dogs are not allowed on the island.
