The John Thurman Smoky Mountain Trout Adventure Camp is a week long camp sponsored by The Tennessee Council and Trout Unlimited in coordination with the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont “to instill in youth 12 to 15 years of age the importance of conserving, protecting, and restoring our nation’s aquatic resources.”

Conservation Fisheries will be participating in this camp for a snorkel day to give camp participants a new perspective on freshwater fishes and learn streamside fish identification!

Applications for 2023 are closed as of June 1 2022, but check back January 2024 for the summer 2024 camp applications!
